- We take pride in fusing an intimate and memorable experience within each exhibit by presenting the opportunity to display one’s work, as well as to inspire, network, and celebrate coming-of-age artists within a positive community of peers. The title of the collective, ‘The Happiest Day’ takes its name from an Edgar Allen Poe poem, “The Happiest Day, the Happiest Hour,” a dark, brooding poem about the paradoxical beauty and tragedy of ‘the creative life.’ The irony between Poe’s persona and the title of this poem lends a playful and clever spirit of The Happiest Day Gallery.
